Cannulated Compression Screws

A comprehensive portfolio of headed and headless Ø2.5, 4.3, 5.6, and 7.4 mm self-drilling and self-tapping cannulated compression screws designed to support precise guidewire-assisted placement. The radiotranslucent properties of the Creed screws are intended to improve visualization during surgery compared with traditional metal implants.

Precision Cutting

The three cutting flutes are designed for bone engagement of the screw tip to support compression while requiring low insertion torque1. Tip geometry is engineered to support bone entry and insertion efficiency. Refer to the operative technique for screw-size-specific preparation guidance.2

Large Screw Cannulation

Cannulation and k-wire sizing are engineered to support controlled guidewire-assisted insertion across the system, Creed screws are intended for use with controlled, low-torque insertion techniques. The larger k-wire, combined with “Stinger Tip” technology, is designed to assist guidewire-following insertion.

Ortholucent

The System patented3 combination of thin-walled titanium, reinforced with a PEEK overmold, combines a titanium alloy core with a PEEK overmold to support intraoperative and postoperative radiographic assessment. The hybrid material configuration is designed to reduce radiographic obstruction relative to traditional all-metal constructs. Imaging appearance may vary by modality and clinical setting.

The Case Ready™ kits are designed to improve efficiency by reducing OR setup time and eliminating instrument cleanup. All instrument kits are made from either surgical steel or high-performance polymers with surgical steel inserts and their performance is equivalent to their re-usable counterparts. All parts are tested to insure high quality and meet performance specifications.
